This sweet little café is located inside the Oomomo store at Aberdeen Centre in Richmond, B.C. They specialize in crêpes and soft serve ice cream. We didn’t notice it as first because it’s tucked in the corner of the store. The dining area has 3 tables that seat 4 each so a maximum of 12 people can hang out in the café at a time. They have a beautifully lit backdrop on one side of the shop which really contributes to the cozy ambience. I’m not a big crêpe person so I ordered the cheesecake sundae instead. Initially I thought it would just be cheesecake-flavoured ice cream with some oreo sprinkles. I was pleasantly surprised when I received my order. There was an actual slice of cheesecake in my sundae! The ice cream was rich, thick, and delicious. It was not too sweet, which I loved. They drizzled it with caramel syrup and the bottom of the cup was lined with a thick layer of crushed Oreos. It’s the perfect dessert. Simply delicious! Apart from the top-notch dessert, what’s great about this café was the staff that worked there. When we arrived, a lot of people were ordering desserts. There was only one person behind the counter. She was the one taking the orders and making them as well. What amazed me was her demeanor and ability to multi-task. She was pleasant to everyone who came to order, she always had a smile on her face, answered any questions customers had about their menu, and made sure patrons didn’t wait too long to order. Once she was done receiving all the orders, she proceeded to make them all. She was fast and efficient but did not sacrifice quality at all. The orders came beautifully presented and just as they appeared in the photos. Her name is Zoe. She’s an absolute gem and really adds value to that business. I highly recommend this café. We’ve been back several times since our first visit.

This cafe is super cute, and is located inside Oomomo so you can have a snack after you shop. There are drinks and snacks like the taiyaki (we got them with red bean), crepes, and soft serve. The taiyaki were fresh and hot, and were filled with red bean. We made our own crepes which were good but a bit difficult to cut. The soft serve was also good but we felt it was more hard like ice cream, and the matcha flavour isn’t very strong. We enjoyed our visit here, and the workers were all really friendly!

Offering a nice 5 dollar combo set. Comes with taiyaki and soft serve ice cream. Matcha flavour not as strong but still good and the fresh made taiyaki is generous with the red bean filling.

I stopped by Oomomo Café at Aberdeen Center and was pleasantly surprised! Their blue strawberry crepe was absolutely delicious—light, fresh, and packed with that creamy cheesecake flavor I love. I paired it with their green tea ice cream, which was so creamy and refreshing, the perfect match. The café itself has a really chill vibe, making it a nice spot to relax or catch up with friends. On top of that, the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

The Sundays were tasty. They did not have crêpes when we went there at around 3 PM unfortunately. The Azuki and strawberries sundaes were really tasty. There were only four tables and then there’s a sign that says maximum of 45 minutes.

Matcha ice cream was good. Crepe was tasty but a little bit too thick, would have been even better if it was thin. Taiyaki was soft and crispy and well filled with red bean. The price was good and the seating comfortable and not too busy on a Friday evening.

Quality fresh crepes made to order at prices way cheaper than the food court. Amazing presentation and large portions too! The sitting area is also well decorated with green shrubs and a light up backdrop emulating you are outside amongst greenery. They sell both sweet and savory crepes all for $7.00 or less as well as sweet and savory melon pan buns, soft serve ice creams, and coffees. I tried the caramel strawberry cheesecake soft serve ice creme crepe and it was amazing. It came with swirl vanilla and green tea soft serve with real matcha bits, fresh strawberry slices, a slice of plain cheesecake, and caramel sauce all on a giant rolled up crepe. Highly recommend if you visit Oomomo or Aberdeen mall. I'm surprised it's not more crowded... Perhaps it's because it's kind of like hidden and no one knows about it?
